The way you dress has been proven to influence energy and emotion, but what you dress with is different. What your clothes are made of can actually wear at your nervous system’s energy or replenish it– adding to sickness or healing it. Bizarre sounding, I know. Choosing untreated clothing of natural fibers over toxic man-made materials is similar to choosing whole foods from nature instead of processed foods…. After my mom and I learned about healing fabrics we started collecting second-hand linen garments and bed sheets and I can say from experience that the energy in real cloth is actually healing and energizing in comparison to the feel of clingy, static filled polyester blends that my family has always avoided.

“The skin being so very important and sensitive, it pays to stop a moment and think seriously of how to cover the skin when we do not desire to leave it over-exposed to the sun. True, the more we can let the sun rays bathe on the skin, the better off we are, but the clothing materials should be of the highest vibration possible. Silk is one of the greatest and best materials that can be used, as it is a live substance, spun from the body of a silk worm using organic vegetation. The next in preference would be materials from animals (sheep wool, camel hair, etc.), as these are still of a higher vibrating nature and can be used without killing the animal, and yet give mankind the advantages of its use. Next, and lower in vibrancy, come the higher vegetable types (including linen such as Christ was wrapped in), cotton hemp, nettles, etc. Then we get to man-made or chemical synthetics, which have a very sluggish and low vibration and are very damaging to the body. The lower vibration materials should be avoided as much as possible– as the nylon and many other man-made synthetics will not allow the skin to breathe properly and in addition are highly combustible and a definite fire hazard to the skin. Much unaccounted-for sickness can be attributed to the use of nylon (undergarments, hoes, etc.) and other synthetic clothing. These do damage to the physical system, and this results in a waning and deterioration of the health. The Law of Moses also advises against mixing or blending different fibers together; pure, organic clothing is best. It is absolutely imperative for air to circulate between the skin and clothing, so a free and loosefitting, organic-type clothing is superior. Many people even become covered with itches and rashes and are poisoned from wearing “economical” and “long-wearing” man-made cloth.” –Dr. John R. Christopher, The School of Natural Healing (pg. 513)

Dr. Heidi Yellen examined the frequency of the human body and certain fabrics to learn what effect they had on the body. The average energy field, or vibration, of a healthy human body is 100Hz. The vibration of a diseased or dead body is 15Hz. Cloth made from plant and animal fibers has a higher vibration than cloth of man-made, synthetic fibers.

  • Polyester and spandex, made from endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs), have a vibration of 15Hz. They are found in almost all modern clothes, especially active-wear and shoes, and constantly sheds microplastics that also disrupt hormone production.

  • Rayon, though made from woodpulp, has a vibration of 15Hz because of the chemical process used to make it.

  • Organically grown cotton has a vibration of 100Hz, having an equal or harmonizing vibration in comparison to the body.

  • Wool has a vibration of 5,000Hz, historically it was used in bedding to improve the length and depth of people’s sleep.

  • Linen, made from flax, has a vibration of 5,000Hz. It is antibacterial and doesn’t hold a static charge, healing skin conditions and improving the quality of sleep as well. In the 1800s it was customary for hospital patients to use linen bandages and bed sheets because nurses knew it sped up the body’s healing!

(However, wool and linen both have different frequencies, they can actually cancel each other out when they are mixed. Deuteronomy 22:11, “Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.”)

Funny that this kinda sounds like a conspiracy... all modern clothing being made from plastics that have such low vibrations that they make us sicker without us even knowing.
